This is just to let you know that due to numerous requests we have
received, we have extended the deadline for submission of papers to 5
April 2009.

2nd IFAC International Conference on

Intelligent Control Systems and Signal Processing - ICONS 2009

September 21-23, 2009, Istanbul, TURKEY

If you are a pseudoscientist, then, a new bogus conference is calling you to send fake papers

Concurrent event: Int. Symp. on Optomechatronic Technologies - ISOT 2009
(http://www.blogger.com/) will run in parallel to ICONS 2009. The
participants of ICONS 2009 will have free access to the sessions of ISOT
2009.

Invitation to ICONS 2009: The organizing committee of ICONS 2009 extends
a cordial invitation to you to come to Istanbul to meet renowned
scholars and practitioners from all over the world at a place that is
reputed to be one of the most attractive cities of the Europe. Those
interested in organizing a special session are requested to approach the
pecial Sessions Chair; Prof.

Annamaria R. Varkonyi-Koczy (http://www.blogger.com/) together with a photo and
a very short bio (< 200 words) for approval. If it is approved, the description of the session and the photo and the bio will be put on the website of the conference.

If you are a pseudoscientist, then, a new bogus conference is calling you to send fake papers

Objectives: ICONS 2009 will be a forum to bring together experts and
practitioners from the major computational intelligence areas (neural
networks, evolutionary algorithms, fuzzy systems, probabilistic
reasoning), and from control systems, signal processing, optimization
and statistics, to exchange knowledge and experience and to discuss the
state of art and the future direction in both theory and applications.
It is desired to foster cross-fertilization between conventional
computing and computational intelligence and to explore opportunities
provided by individual computational intelligence methodologies and
their hybrids. While control systems methods and applications will be
the dominant theme, the conference is not limited to these subjects.
Rather, it aims to be a multidisciplinary forum to promote discussion
and transfer of knowledge between people from different backgrounds,
including industry, albeit related to the main theme.
